About This Project
When CU Pediatrics found their practice rapidly outgrowing its space, they partnered with Apex Design Build to bring their vision for a new, expanded facility to life. Together with both doctors, we designed, drew, and constructed a brand-new, ground-up 5,000 sq. ft. pediatric dental office.
The team prioritized function and flow: a thoughtful layout that supports a 10-chair practice, open treatment areas balanced with private rooms for flexibility, and dedicated staff spaces including a covered outdoor area. The design emphasizes sound reduction throughout the office, ensuring a calmer experience for both staff and patients.
The waiting area was designed with children in mind, incorporating playful, engaging spaces that make visits less intimidating and more fun. From vibrant wall graphics and interactive play zones to flexible seating and cheerful pops of color, the environment reflects the practice’s focus on care and comfort.
Outside, the site provides ample parking and welcoming curb appeal that matches the warmth inside. This project represents a true collaboration—delivering a modern, efficient, and family-friendly space that supports CU Pediatrics’ growing practice and enhances their patient experience.
